Serbian Patriarch Irinej celebrates in the church of Holy Transfiguration of the Lord in Belgrade

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of the Holy Transfiguration of the Lord on Pashino Brdo, in Belgrade.

The Patriarch was concelebrated by archpriest Dragisa Jocic, dean of the church; and Aleksandar Lukavac, presbyter Zoran Rankovic, Ph.D.; Dean of the Faculty of the Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade, protodeacon Stevan Rapajic and deacons  Nikola Petrovic and Dragan Simkic.

Services restored in Cathedral church in Zagreb

Metropolitan Porfirije: The earthquake was a temptation that enabled us to discover something about ourselves, about the meaning of life, but also about the love of God.

On the Sunday of Fathers of the First Ecumenical Assembly, 31 May 2020, His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of Archimandrite Danilo (Ljubotina), protodean Bogoljub Ostojic and deacon Dragan Radic .It was the first service in the church in which, after it suffered from the earthquake, protective scaffolding was set up.

Bishop Jovan of Sumadia celebrates in Lapovo

On the seventh week after Easter dedicated to Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Assembly, the faithful people of Lapovo with joy welcomed its hierarch, Bishop Jovan of Sumadija.

The Bishop was concelebrated by local clergy. Serbian Orthodox Singers sang responses.

After one hundred years Bishop serves at the church dedication feast in Medvedja

His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy on the feast day of the Ascension of the Lord in the church of the Ascension of the Lord in Medvedja.

This is not the first time Bishop Arsenije comes to Medvedja, but this is the first time after one hundred years that one Bishop serves the Liturgy on the day of the church dedication feast, presbyter Boban Vukovic, parish priest in Medvedja said.

A location for a new church at Nova Pazova consecrated

On the feast-day of St. John the Theologian, May 21, 2020, His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Srem consecrated a location for a new churchat Nova Pazova, Syrmium.

Concelebrants of the Bishop were: archpriest-staurophor Mile Jokic, archpriest deputy of Stara Pazova and archpriest-staurophor Đordje Pavlovic as well deacons Goran Vlasac and Svetogor Sandic. The choir "St. Bishop Nikolaj Srpski" from Nova Pazova chanted responses. The new church will be dedicated to the Holy First Martyr and Archdeacon Stephan, and the votive dedication will be the Holy Martyr Kyriake.
